SkyGlance Privacy Policy

SkyGlance is designed to show local weather forecasts, widgets, and trial status without advertising or cross-app tracking.

Information The App Uses

SkyGlance may use your device location when you grant location permission. Your latitude and longitude are sent to Open-Meteo to retrieve weather forecasts for your area. Location is used only to provide app functionality, such as current conditions, forecasts, and widgets.

SkyGlance uses Apple StoreKit for purchases. Purchase processing is handled by Apple. The app stores entitlement and trial state locally on your device using system storage such as UserDefaults and Keychain.

SkyGlance may request notification permission to send a local reminder before a trial ends. Trial reminders are scheduled on your device.

SkyGlance stores recent weather and location information locally so widgets can display current weather. This local widget data is not used for advertising or tracking.

What We Do Not Do

• SkyGlance does not sell your data.
• SkyGlance does not use third-party advertising SDKs.
• SkyGlance does not track you across apps or websites.
• SkyGlance does not collect analytics for marketing or profiling.

Third-Party Services

SkyGlance uses Open-Meteo to provide weather data. Requests to Open-Meteo may include your approximate or precise coordinates so the service can return a local forecast.
